Anyways, coming to the topic. There are many trust issues these days. Be it in relationships or in friendship. There is nothing more devastatingly disappointing in life than to have a friend or colleague betray you. To know that someone you have trusted, confided and let into the inner most secrecies of your life, would then attempt to destroy you using that platform of trust. it undoubtedly leaves a deep and painful scar for all those involved and to a lesser extent those who witness. Typically when we find ourselves in the midst of the chaos and confusion of distrust, we tend to lose our sanity in the 'who' or even the 'how' of the matter. As a result, we sidestep the fact that much of our answer is in the 'why' of the matter. The 'who' and 'how' are often obvious, however the 'why' can be allusive
I think one of the hardest things in life to know is who to trust. When you are right it strengthens your heart, when you are wrong it challenges your faith in life and people. I read a quote once that said, 'Never explain, because friends do not need it and your enemies will not believe you anyway'. I recently thought that you have to trust somebody because if you don't, you begin to question trusting even yourself.
There are people, who, when questioned 'why don't you trust people ?', will answer that they had once trusted someone and that someone broke their trust. I feel like slapping those people, who give the above answer. Like come on man, who are you to decide whether others are good or not ? If one person has broken your trust, it doesn't mean the whole population will do so. Maybe even you have broken someone's trust. If that one person wouldn't have broken your trust, you never would have known how the person, who's trust you broke, felt. It pains deep inside. Everybody hides their pain. Fools hide it in their eyes while the brilliant hide it in their smile.
Think of it this way. You've just purchased a new cell phone and you don't like it. Will you stop using cell phones ? No. You'll buy another cell phone, a better one, when the time is right.
Well, I think I should end this post, its pretty length already. There's a poem for sure.
Adios amigos. Have fun & take care :D
The poem is titled 'Forget forgiving'
You say it doesn't matter,
It's all in the past.
You never see my pain.
It's behind a mask.
You say to forgive and forget.
Get out of my mind.
Get out of my sight.
Stop begging. Don't say please.
You're not the best.
You're like all the rest.
I don't want a memory,
All you did was lie and cheat.
Memories get in my way.
I wish someone could ease the pain.
It's time to let go and forget everything.
Get out of my mind.
Get out of my sight.
Stop begging. Don't say please.
You're not the best.
You're like all the rest.
You want me to forgive and forget.
I want to forgive you, but I'd rather forget you.
Forget forgiving.
Why did I trust you in the first place?
Forget forgiving.
Get out of my face.
Forget forgiving.
It's not worth the pain.
