Hey people, how are you doing today ? All of you in one piece I hope. Don't think that the 'last day' is about my blog (no ways !!!) Its about my farewell party.
Well, as all those who read the post 'The Irresistible Wait' know that I had my farewell party yesterday. It was great, of course, no doubts. The party started with our juniors giving us a hearty welcome and the show started. Each of my batch mates was given a beautiful flower. The hosts briefly said what all had been planned for the evening. There was this competition, held at every farewell party. The Mr. & Ms. North Point competition. All of us were excited about it. There were two ladies to judge us.
The competition had three rounds. The first round was pretty easy, all of us had to do a ramp walk and the judges would select ten girls and ten boys for the second round. Everyone having done their ramp walk, our juniors gave a splendid performance while we waited for the results. Soon the results were out and the names of the lucky twenty were known.
The second round was the 'X-Factor' round. The qualifiers had to pick up a chit from the bowl and do whatever was written on it. Somebody had to sing a song, someone had to dance on Gangnam Style (hell lucky person) while someone had to enact a dialogue. This round was the most hilarious round xD. While the judges chose the finalists, we all played musical chairs. It was hell fun playing that game, mainly because every time the music stopped four chairs were removed, so you had to be very quick in claiming your seat. Pretty quick the game ended and we had not one, but two winners. About five minutes after the game ended, the names of the eight finalists, four boys and four girls, were announced.
The third and the last round, the 'Eureka !' round. In this round, the judges asked every finalist two questions. Every question had two options and the finalist had to choose from either of them, except a few questions which were whacky and were to be answered not by straight, but zig-zag answers. So, even this round ended and now we all were eagerly waiting to hear the name of the finalist who would win the crown. The judges declared the winners and our honorable principal ma'am awarded them with a crown and a trophy. After all this, the food was put up and after everyone ate it, the music started \m/ though it didn't last for long, but yeah music is music ;).
Everyone enjoyed their hearts out yesterday night and headed home to have a good night's sleep. Well people, that's the end of it. The last day I saw all my batch people together. I don't know who will go where and who will stay glued to Mumbai, so that's why the last day. Will miss all of you folks. And love all you guys loads <3 :D
Ending with this quote, hope you like it.
"A farewell is necessary before we can meet again, and meeting again, after moments or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends."
And people, we're gonna be meeting surely again in the future. You all have given me a lot. Right from abuses(I didn't even know the meaning of the middle finger before coming to NPS) till learning the art of sharing. Thank you each and every batchmate of mine.
