And boom! here comes yet another year

31st, December 2013. The last day of this year. Another 365 days have passed. Pretty quick, right? So, how many of you fulfilled your resolutions?

This year was just so full of break-ups, crushes, nail-biting experiences, trust issues, fights, silence, happy times, scolding, makeovers, box-office blockbusters, new entrants in almost every field, super-awesome songs and of course, new friends.
Everybody faces lots of hardships but gets an equal amount of happiness after those. Some or the other problems arose for everyone but towards the end they were all solved. In the end, you come to know who always has been with you, who is with you and who always will be. It doesn't matter if its one person with you, against the whole world, if you're right you'll come out that problem, stronger than ever.

A piece of advice for everyone reading this - Just let go of all your worries. Shit is gonna happen next year too. So why bother so much? Why lose your smile because of few people? You have loads of pals out there who would be super happy to see that amazingly sexy smile of yours. ;)

One really important thing that I realized this year was that even if some of my friends are a bunch of shitty people, there also are people who are just the opposite. These 'opposite' people are the ones whom I've never met, but they're all really great friends. Thanks a lot to all these great friends. :D

I don't know how everybody's year has been, but mine was pretty good, with bad parts of course. I would like to share my year, summed up in eight points with you all. So, here's how my year was -

1. I had my 10th grade boards this year. (I don't think this point needs any more words :P )
2. I started this blog and I'm super happy I did.
3. I made a photography page of my own.
4. I hanged around, loads, with my family & I realized what a cool family I've got.
5. I faced lots of shit, but I learned plenty many things from those.
6. I got a new phone. (Yayiee!!)
7. I gave lots of exams this year. 11th grade - I didn't expect you to be so.
8. I did some activities and the feeling after doing those was superb. :')

One small paragraph for some special people in my life - my best friends. You have always been there for me, whatever the situation was. I know I've been a nuisance since the start. Apologies for that. LoveYouToTheMoonAndBack :*

That's all for this post! The last post of 2013. Hope you all enjoyed all the posts on this blog throughout the year. I promise that I'll keep running this blog for as long as I can and ya, suggestions regarding the posts are always welcome. Party real hard tonight and hope that the coming year is great for all of us. Wishing you all a Happy New Year 2014, a day in advance.

Ending this post with a poem titled 'Dream On!'.

Some of us are natural dreamers,
We could paint a picture together,
We're talented at it, we have a skill,
We dream whilst climbing the big hill,
We dream at home,
We dream when we're alone,
We dream at school,
Cuz' dreaming is cool!

We could pass exams in dreaming,
Getting merits effortlessly,
We just can't help it!
Not everyone's a natural dreamer, I admit,
But most of us start off that way,
Our minds like telling stories all day,
Or jumping off tangents, know what I mean?
Painting pictures or creating crazy scenes!

Why do we like dreaming?
Cuz' dreaming is believing!
The biggest problem with dreaming is,
Adults don't always appreciate it,
They are most likely to get annoyed,
If you are dreaming,
When you should be eating,
Your dinner or tidying you room,
We just can't help it!

Adults sometimes tell us that dreaming is bad,
They will tell you dreaming is a waste of time,
I would say - don't listen!
It may be a concern for others,
But dreaming isn't bad,
It's actually good,
Better than hot chocolate, fudge cake in fact,
And not many things in life are better than that,
Dreaming is the most powerful kind of magic,
It really does the trick,
Of making things happen.

How? Well, you dream up a story,
And then write it down,
But that's not what I really mean,
I'm talking about dreams that focus on the future,
Dreams of things you'd like to be,
Things you'd like to achieve,
Your potential,
A dream that is special,
And if you dream, you can do it,
So go on..
Dream on!

Signing off. Sayonara. See you all next year, folks.

P.S. - Thinking why I summed up my year in eight points and not any other number? Eight is a number that has always been lucky for me, so just thought to use it here too. :D

Best Friend

Hola amigos ! Long time since I wrote something on the blog. Well, firstly my 10th grade boards got over, I had to hunt down for a good college ( I ended up in a ISC high school :P ) and get down to studying. We have exams here every other month! We studied in June, had an exam in July. Studied in August, had an exam in September. Studied in October and had an exam in November. Now we're studying and have our final exams starting from the 10th of January. People used to tell me "You're gonna enjoy in 11th grade." and now I'm like "Yeah, I really find these exams 'enjoyable' " -.-"

Anyways coming to the topic. Best friend. Tell me what do each one of you interpret these two words as ? A person with whom you can share all your secrets ? Or maybe a person who will be with you through happy as well as sad times? It can be anything. It all depends on the person. I may look for something else in a best friend and someone else might look for something else. No fixed 'guidelines' or 'rules' as such for becoming a best friend/having a best friend. It happens all in good time.

This post is dedicated to a person who is very close to me and has always been by my side. Its only been seven months since I became friends with this guy and it seems like we know each other since kindergarten! At times, we both have the same point of view and at times, we don't. We have tons of similarities and little differences. The longest chats I've ever had, have been with this fellow. Although the internet on his phone sucks to the core, we still manage somehow :P

This guy, he is my friend, my brother and my best friend. You seriously are the world's greatest helper & the craziest company I can ever have.
Love you dudeeeee :*

Ending this post with a poem, just as usual. But, but..there isn't only a poem, there is a quote too.

Forever Friendship

Sometimes in life you find a special friend.
Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop.
Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world.
Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door.
Just waiting for you to open it.

This is Forever Friendship.
When you're down and the world seems dark and empty,
Your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full.
Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times.
Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay.
And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete, because you need not worry.
You have a forever friend for life and forever has no end.

The quote :
Our friendship is a little more trust, a little less try..
A little more laugh and a little less cry..
A little more "we" and a little less I.. :') ;)

Mothers Day

Hola amigos ! Happy Sunday to all and a very happy Mothers Day to all the lovely Moms.

So, what how are you gonna make this day special for your mom ? Partying ? Giving her a gift ? Taking her out, on a sort of holiday ? Well, whatever it be, its gonna be great for sure.

The origin of Mother's Day as the world knows it today can be traced back to the United States. In 1908 Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother in the US. She then began a campaign to make "Mother's Day" a recognized holiday in the United States. Her attempts bore fruit in 1914, and since then the day is celebrated every year.

Most countries celebrate the day on the second Sunday of May, while others observe Mother's Day on different days, with 8th March and 21st March the other popular dates, across the world. The countries that recognize the second Sunday of May as Mother's Day includes Canada, Australia, most parts of Europe, India & other parts of Asia, Brazil and other parts of South America, as well as many countries in Africa.

A mother won't ever let her child down, she can't see the child cry, she'll do anything & everything to make the child happy, even if it causes harm to her. Every mom is the world's best. You can't compare one mom to another.

Everyone reading this post, wish your mom a very happy Mothers Day on my behalf and if any mother is reading this, Happy Mothers Day to you, ma'am. :D

Ending this post with a poem, as usual. But, today being a special day, there isn't one, but three poems.

Here's the first one -

We say the feeling should come from our heart.
Sometimes a lot of thoughts are misunderstood.
At that time, forget what's good and bad.
Maybe that is the reason why
We usually hesitate to try
And sometimes we wanna cry.
Still, she will always be hard.
But also be on guard.
At that point of time, we should figure out what's right.
Or hold on to our mother, tight.
Because she is someone who can give you a correct advice.
So remember, be nice.
She will always be your friend,
No matter you follow what trend.
You can trust her with closed eyes,
Because she never gives you lies.
Some things from her maybe hard to believe,
But, she is actually very hard to say good-bye and leave.
So always be smart.
And love your mother from deep down the heart.

And here's the second one -

Her hands held me gently from the day I took my first breath.
Her hands helped to guide me as I took my first step.
Her hands held me close when the tears would start to fall.
Her hands were quick to show me that she would take care of it all.
Her hands were there to brush my hair, or straighten a wayward bow.
Her hands were often there to comfort the hurts that didn't always show.
Her hands helped hold the stars in place, and encouraged me to reach.
Her hands would clap and cheer and praise when I captured them at length.
Her hands would also push me, though not down or in harms way.
Her hands would punctuate the words, just do what I say.
Her hands sometimes had to discipline, to help bend this young tree.
Her hands would shape and mold me into all she knew I could be.
Her hands are now twisting with age and years of work,
Her hand now needs my gentle touch to rub away the hurt.
Her hands are more beautiful than anything can be.
Her hands are the reason I am me.

And here's the third, and the last, poem -

You are the sunlight in my day,
You are the moon I see far away.
You are the tree I lean upon,
You are the one that makes troubles be gone.
You are the one who taught me life,
How not to fight, and what is right.
You are the words inside my song,
You are my love, my life, my mom.
You are the one who cares for me,
You are the eyes that help me see.
You are the one who knows me best,
When it's time to have fun and time to rest.
You are the one who has helped me to dream,
You hear my heart and you hear my screams.
Afraid of life but looking for love,
I'm blessed for God sent you from above.
You are my friend, my heart, and my soul
You are the greatest friend I know.
You are the words inside my song,
You are my love, my life, my everything.
You are my Mom.

P.S. - Here's some Google doodles for Mothers Day, for the year 2013 and a couple of years before it.

Cartoons

Hola amigos ! How you doing ? I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

So, what are you upto now ? Lunch time for a majority of people. Have your lunch properly, please. Energy is required to go home in one piece ;)

Well, I chose this topic for today because some pals reminded me of the days when we used to watch these toons. Totally awesome they were. There's a long list. But naming my personal favorites, they are Popeye, Scooby Doo, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Pingu, Oswald, the Jetsons, Recess, Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Ed, Edd & Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Pokemon and Bob the Builder. (I know my list is very long :P )

Courage always saved Muriel's and Eustace's lives.

Pikachu always helped Ash, no matter what his condition was.

Pingu and his friend put a fish down their throats and the skeleton of the fish came out.

The Jetsons had super awesome technology.

Johnny Bravo was too involved with babes and loved to look at himself in a mirror.

Popeye ate spinach and got his enemies black n' blue.

Bob finished every task on time with his team.

Jerry always outwitted Tom.

Dexter was troubled hell loads by Dee-Dee.

The Mystery Inc. solved each and every mystery.

The Flintstones drove cars with their feet and the main 'gang' of Recess had tons of fun in every episode.

So, which ones were your favorites ? I've started a poll on the blog. You can vote for your favorites there. Let's see who leads the race. ;) :D

Sayonara people. See you soon. Get voting, quick ;)
